Thanks Andy and Aravis...Andy--go to aa-europe dot org and there is a full list of meetings and events. Also, the Grapevine has a monthly list of European events in the back. Great news about the group in Texas, but is this an AA group or a group for general recovery. As I'm sure you know, AA has a lot to say about singleness of purpose and recovery from alcohol as opposed to other substances, as do I--Keep It Simple. Aravis, your support is always welcome and needed. Th confusion continues around here and we are learning new ways to be patient.

You're taking such good care of her; you're a very loving son. Having just gone through this with my grandmother, I have some sense of what this must be like for you. But she's your mother and there's that added depth, a deeper connection. You both remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Enjoy the convention!

Hey Johnnyboy -

just came across your blog today when I was looking up college/aa recovery...you have some interesting insights about AA in Europe and seem well connected to the program...don't know how to find your contact info otherwise (new to blogging, though I design web sites)...but drop me a line, be interested in knowing more about your experience, strength and hope as I help start a recovery group at Texas A&M - thanks!
