Updates, friends, and a goodbye to Blogger…

I have been on WordPress for about a week now and I think it’s great.  It’s a much more full blogging experience than the other.  I am also searching for a better template, but the one I have now will do.  I am drawn to the simple, direct, and non-denominational formats, so that’s what I will eventually adopt.

My good friend is in the process of updating his photography site, which is a current link here on TeeJayDoubleTee.  He has some great pictures of the Balkans and other shots.  I met up with him a few years ago in Croatia and he has been shadowing me ever since.

I will officially close the Blogspot blog tonight.  Farewell Blogger, dear friend, You have served me faithfully and true.

Johnnyboy is a queer recovering alcoholic. For the moment he is also the primary caregiver for his mother, who suffers from age-related cognitive impairment. She is happy as a lark and is surrounded by a crew of sober women which gives him the freedom he needs to get out of town. When he is not at home in Somewheresville, he is searching out the proper path to travel for happiness and joy. He is a photographer who believes in the digital age, but feels that film is still where its at. He has a darkroom and works in it.
